1. Who We Are

2. What We Collect, and When

We only ask for what a particular form needs. Nothing on this website requires you to create an account.

• Booking a home survey: your first and last name, email address, telephone number, home address and postcode, which room the survey is for, the date and time you choose, and any notes you add.
• Contact form: your name, email address, telephone number if you give one, and the message you write.
• Website chat: the messages you send in the chat, and your email address if you ask us to send you a copy of the conversation or to have someone call you back.
• Room makeover tool (“See Your New Room”): the photograph of your room that you upload, your email address, your first name if you give one, and the room, style and colour palette you select.
• Newsletter signup: your email address.
• Trade account applications: your company name, contact name, email address, telephone number, trade type, address and a description of your business.
• Automatically, on every visit: technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. Our anti-spam check also passes your IP address to Cloudflare so it can tell a person from a bot.

If you are a customer, we will also hold the details of your project: measurements, designs, product specifications, quotations, order and payment records, and correspondence.

3. Why We Use It, and Our Lawful Basis

• Arranging and carrying out home surveys, designs, quotations and installations. Lawful basis: performance of our contract with you, or taking steps at your request before entering into one.
• Replying to enquiries, chat messages and callback requests. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering people who get in touch, and performance of a contract where the enquiry becomes an order.
• Creating your room visualisation and emailing it to you. Lawful basis: your consent, given when you accept the tool’s terms before uploading a photograph.
• Sending design emails, newsletters and offers. Lawful basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time, and doing so is free and immediate.
• Keeping the website secure and blocking spam and abuse. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in protecting our systems.
• Understanding how the website is used. Lawful basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner.
• Meeting our accounting, tax and legal obligations. Lawful basis: compliance with a legal obligation.

4. Companies That Process Data For Us

We use a small number of service providers. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.

• Resend delivers the emails we send, including booking confirmations, enquiry replies, makeover results and our design emails. It processes your email address and the content of the message in order to deliver it.
• OpenRouter and the artificial intelligence providers it routes to generate the images produced by the room makeover tool. When you use the tool, your uploaded photograph and your style choices are sent to them for the sole purpose of producing your visualisation. We do not use your photographs to train artificial intelligence models, and we do not supply them to anyone for that purpose. [SOLICITOR-REVIEW] Individual AI providers set their own input retention and training terms, so this statement should be checked against the current terms of the providers in use and against clause 9 of our Terms & Conditions.
• Cloudflare provides the human verification check on our forms.
• Our website hosting and booking system providers store the data submitted through this website and the appointments you book.
• Google Analytics reports on website usage, where you have accepted analytics cookies.

Some of these providers process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens we rely on the transfer safeguards set out in their own data processing terms. 5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not pass your details to other companies for their own marketing. We may share your information with trusted suppliers, fitters and subcontractors where that is necessary to deliver your project, and with our professional advisers or the authorities where the law requires it.

6. How Long We Keep It

• Enquiries, chat records and unsuccessful quotations: up to two years from our last contact with you, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back to us.
• Customer project and order records: six years from completion, in line with our contractual, guarantee, accounting and tax obligations.
• Mailing list: until you unsubscribe. After you unsubscribe we keep a record that your address has opted out, so that we do not email you again by mistake.
• Photographs you upload to the room makeover tool and the images generated from them: we keep these under the licence you grant in clause 9 of our Terms & Conditions, which does not expire. [SOLICITOR-REVIEW] Indefinite retention of uploaded photographs sits awkwardly with the storage limitation principle, so a defined retention period, or a documented justification for keeping them, should be agreed.
• Website technical logs: a short period, typically no more than a few months.

7. Cookies

This website uses cookies to improve your browsing experience and analyse site traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Essential cookies are required for the website to function. Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site.

8. Your Rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
• Ask us to delete your data, including any photograph you have uploaded
• Object to or restrict how we use your data
• Ask for your data in a portable format, where we hold it on the basis of consent or a contract
• Withdraw your consent at any time, including consent to marketing emails

To exercise any of these, email [email protected] or write to us at the address below. We will respond within one month. There is no charge, and asking will never affect the service you receive from us.

You do not need to contact us to stop marketing emails: the unsubscribe link in any of our design emails does it immediately.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first so we have the chance to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

9. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
