Bathrooms in Mexborough, From the Showroom Down the Road

A bathroom is the room where photographs mislead the most. A tile that looks soft grey online can turn cold under a bathroom light, and nothing on a screen tells you whether a shower tray feels solid underfoot or how a soft-close toilet seat actually closes. The Doncaster Road showroom has full-size bathroom displays, tiles, vanity units, taps and shower enclosures to look at and handle. Plenty of Mexborough customers call in two or three times over a project, and that is what it is there for.

Most Mexborough bathrooms sit in Victorian and Edwardian terraces, interwar semis and postwar homes, plus the newer estates out towards Swinton. That means small rooms, sloping ceilings in back extensions, boxed-in soil stacks and windows exactly where the shower wants to go. The home measure catches all of it, and the 3D design shows you the room with the real pipework and window positions before anything is ordered, so the first draft is a realistic one.

It is not only full family bathrooms. Wet rooms, walk-in showers for easier access, en-suites squeezed into a box room and downstairs cloakrooms are all regular work for us. Every one goes through the same free home measure and 3D design, and wet rooms are fully tanked before a tile goes on, because that is the part that decides whether the room is still sound in ten years.

If you already have a plumber or a fitter you trust, we will design and supply the bathroom and hand over the full plans so they have exact dimensions to work from. If you would rather we sorted it, we recommend fitters we have worked alongside for years, who handle the plumbing, tiling, electrics and finishing as one job, with the delivery booked around them.
